How is Governance360 different from Convene, AdminControl or OnBoard?

Governance360 is specifically designed and priced for smaller UK organisations. Enterprise platforms like Convene and Onboard are built for large corporates and are often too expensive and complex for charities and SMEs. Governance360 offers the core governance features smaller organisations need — risk registers, compliance tracking, board minute distribution, and action management — at an affordable price point with a simpler, more intuitive interface. Prices are fixed per organisation and start from £25 per month on an annual plan. Governance360 also offers a free trial.

Does Governance360 help with charity compliance?

Yes. Governance360 supports and helps compliance with the Charity Governance Code, charity SORP requirements, and sector-specific governance frameworks although it does not claim to make its customers fully compliant. The platform includes compliance monitoring, governance health assessments, and automated tracking to help charity trustees and CEOs stay on top of their regulatory obligations and contribute towards their work in this area.

Are there any set-up fees?

No, there are no set-up fees or charges to get going with Governance360. Indeed, we make it as quick, and as pain free as possible to get you up and running.

How long does the Free Trial last?

Broadly speaking as long as you want in order to make up your mind.

In reality though most triallists use Governance360 for one meeting (internal to test, internal for a ‘real’ meeting or in ‘real life’ with their Board – the choice is yours).

We have found that most users quickly make up their mind (and luckily for us most realise really quickly how much time and effort we save them).

How does the 30-day refund work?

We don’t want you to fail. But recognise that you probably haven’t seen or used anything like Governance360 before and hence need to be happy before putting down hard cash.

Whilst you can proceed under your own steam, we also offer the QuickStart with us, mostly (so that we can personalise and tailor what you see to what you need to begin with. Only once set up on the platform, and having run your first meeting (most peoples choice of ‘key deliverable’ as part of their initial free trial) do we invoice you.

Can I break up payments rather than pay in one go?

Whilst most people want to lock into a one year (or more) subscription up front to ensure prices don’t rise and their budget is fixed, we do, through our partner GoCardless, offer a Direct Debit option if you want to pay monthly instead.

Can I remove my data if I don't want to keep using Governance360?

How much training do I, or our board members need, to start a trial?

Whilst we are very happy to spend time with you as an Admin when you set-up your organisation on Governance360, we have deliberately built the platform to be as intuitive as possible. The short answer therefore is that no training is generally needed to trial, or indeed adopt, Governance360.

Board members after all frequently change – and we don’t want to cost you every time someone leaves or joins by needing to invest in yet more training.

The easiest way to prove this though is to start a trial – why not do that now?

Can I try a module of the Academy for free?

We are sorry, but unless you are part of a programme where this is offered, then no.

The courses are one-off, accredited for CPD purposes as a curated piece of learning, and to that end are products that once consumed cannot be refunded.
